An 800 m north-facing sandy beach break in two adjoining sections, giving lefts and rights, best in autumn-winter on NW swell with offshore south wind; rocks and strong currents are noted hazards. Kitesurfing and windsurfing are banned in summer; outside summer, kitesurfing is viable only at low tide, for experts only. At low tide the beach merges with the adjacent beach. Pets banned 15 May-15 October. Lifeguard cover runs daily 15 June-8 September.
