A wide, flat, dune-backed Atlantic beach with firm sand at low tide and southwest exposure, making it a wind-sports hub — home to a sand-yachting school, plus kitesurfing and windsurfing in designated zones. At low tide it joins a neighbouring beach to form roughly 4.5 km of hard-packed sand. Surfing occurs when swell is present. Access is difficult except at the southern parking area. Dogs permitted; a naturist section exists. Lifeguard cover unconfirmed.
