A compact, sheltered sand-and-pebble cove in a town centre, facing west-northwest and calm rather than surf-exposed — kitesurfing and sailing occur in the wider bay but not here. Best visited low-to-mid tide, when the beach is at its widest; at high tide only a narrow strip remains. Unsupervised, with maritime rescue via a local SNSM station. Dogs are banned June–September, and camping, campfires and smoking are prohibited throughout.
