A wild, undeveloped beach break sandwiched between two protected nature reserves, managed by the Coastal Conservancy with no facilities. Good sand banks favour surfing at low-to-mid tide, when the full sandy beach is exposed; at high tide it narrows to pebbles and cobbles. Rip currents are a recognised hazard at all tide states, and there is no lifeguard supervision -- swimming is officially flagged as dangerous. Dogs are permitted. No tow service exists.
