A secluded, foot-access-only sandy beach over 1 km long, with a mellow multi-sandbar break giving left and right peaks for all levels at low-to-mid tide, plus a rocky northern section that rarely produces a powerful right-hander. Baines (deep trough rip currents) form between mid and low tide and can sweep swimmers and surfers seaward; weaver fish are present near the beginner sandbar. A nudist section exists. Dogs are banned mid-June to late September.
