A compact family beach in a sheltered, semi-circular bay southwest of Palma, with calm, clear, shallow, turquoise water over fine white sand, beach clubs and hotels — suited to swimming, snorkelling and flat-water paddling, not wave or wind sports. Pedalos, kayaks and paddleboards available. The bay is open to NE-E-SE winds and can develop chop, though shelter limits wave action. Blue Flag status was lost in 2020. Lifeguards operate May-October.
