A developed, family beach of fine golden sand flanked by pine-covered rocky headlands, with a calm, sheltered, SSE-facing bay unsuitable for surfing. Rocks break the surface at the eastern point and near a small islet; central sandy entry is straightforward, over sand and seaweed at 2-3 m depth. Suited to calm-water paddleboarding, kayaking and snorkelling; jellyfish noted in season. Jet-ski hire operates from the port end. Lifeguards run May-October.
