A wild, unsupervised Atlantic beach break at the southern end of Cap Ferret's ocean beaches, reached by a dune-crossing walk of 10-15 minutes. Shifting sandbanks form A-frame peaks, from workable walls to heavier, fast-breaking waves on bigger swells, used for surfing and kitesurfing. The west-facing shore is fully exposed to swell and rip currents. No lifeguard is posted. Part of the protected dune area is closed to public access due to collapse risk.
