A roughly 500 m Atlantic beach break with rocky slabs through the sand, exposed at low tide, giving hollow, tubular waves on an offshore wind. Cautious entry suits low tide, when the break is gentler; it is accessible to all levels at high tide. Rip currents and rocks are the main hazards. Anchoring and scuba diving are prohibited in the coastal band. Dogs are banned in season; lifeguards patrol daily, 20 June to 31 August.
