In context.
A sheltered, flat sandy beach about 400 metres long on the Gironde estuary, backed by dunes and forest, with pebbles and rocks at one end. No surf break; the flat estuary suits paddleboard, kayak, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The sea retreats far at low tide, exposing mud, so entry is best at high tide. Lifeguards supervise 11:00-19:00, 2 July-31 August. Dogs banned 1 April-30 September.

4Shor uses ShorSense™ — our coastal intelligence engine that combines satellite-derived bathymetry (fancy word for underwater mapping), advanced wave models with wind and tide data to generate precision, hyper-local forecasts.
