Water runs slightly choppy, favouring freeride over freestyle kite and windsurf; shallow water extends well offshore, aiding beginners. It is the area's primary permitted kite and windsurf zone, with a buoyed lane separating riders from swimmers. Officially naturist 15 April-30 September. Lifeguarded late June-August.
