A two-part sandy cove set in a sheltered inlet, with excellent-quality sand and a designated kitesurf zone alongside the bathing area. Exposed to Atlantic swell from the WNW, it supports surfing, kitesurfing, sand sailing, diving, and beach sports, and is a beginner-to-intermediate beach break with no particular dangers noted. Lifeguarded in season; the SNSM covers the surrounding coast. Tidal range is around 5.5 m, and surf is best on a rising tide.
