A wide, exposed Atlantic beach break in a protected natural park, with shifting sandy banks producing lefts and rights, A-frames in the middle, a longer right off the north end, and hollow peaks to the south. Submerged rocks are present at all tide levels, worst at low tide. Consistent winds also draw kitesurfers and windsurfers. Lifeguards operate 1 June to 30 September; camping and fishing between sunrise and sunset are prohibited.
