A small, semi-wild Atlantic cove facing NNW into open ocean, with fine sand backed by low cliffs and a rocky outcrop on the northern side that shelters part of the bay. Exposed to Atlantic swell, it is used for surfing and bodyboarding, with windsurfing and kitesurfing also practised here. It is described as seasonally lifeguarded, though exact hours are unpublished. Tidal range is large; rocky outcrops become submerged diving platforms at high tide.
