Carbis Bay Beach Kayak Forecast
Carbis Bay · United Kingdom
Carbis Bay Beach scores 77/100 for kayak today at its best ability level (expert). The beach faces NE. A sheltered, south-facing golden-sand beach inside St Ives Bay with calm, clear water suited to swimming, SUP and kayaking rather than surf. Surf is inconsistent, needing a large northerly swell, producing powerful, wedgy waves close to high tide when it arrives, mainly ridden by bodyboarders. A submerged wreck is visible at low tide in the beach centre. RNLI lifeguards patrol roughly 7 July-2 September. Dogs banned 15 May-30 September.
