A small sandy cove below cliffs, with a stream discharging onto the beach forming a river-mouth break; surf is exposed but inconsistent and generally small. Watersports here include surfing, SUP, kayaking, canoeing and windsurfing. Incoming tides can cut off routes along the cliff base. RNLI lifeguards patrol daily late May through September, 10am-6pm. Dogs banned from the main bathing area 1 May-30 Sep, allowed year-round beyond it.
