A wide, sandy, southeast-facing Atlantic beach break shaped by jetty structures, producing left and right-handers rarely exceeding about 1 m due to sheltering; suitable for all levels but crowded in season, also used for kitesurfing and windsurfing, with a dedicated kite zone at a neighbouring beach. Low tide brings steeper waves, high tide softer ones. Dogs are banned on supervised beaches in summer daytime. Lifeguards cover late June-end August.
