No rock, reef or wave hazards; suited to paddle, kayak and catamaran. An area to the north offers flat-water kite and windsurf at low tide when a lagoon forms. Dogs banned April-November. Kite navigation is banned basin-wide in summer except in a channel. Lifeguards staff the beach July-August.
