Two breaks share this headland: a sheltered, north-facing sandy beach producing mellower peeling waves that wrap in during winter swell, and an exposed rock-and-reef break on the far side of the headland with powerful, sometimes hollow waves for advanced surfers only. The sandy side also supports swimming, SUP, kayaking, and fishing from a nearby pier. No lifeguards patrol either side, and no Blue Flag or bathing-water monitoring status applies here.
