Kennack Sands Kitesurf Forecast
Kuggar · United Kingdom
Kennack Sands scores 87/100 for kitesurf today at its best ability level (advanced). The beach faces S. A sheltered, SSE-facing twin-bay sandy beach on the Lizard Peninsula, split by a rocky outcrop with rock pools. The sandy break gives left and right waves for beginner surfing and bodyboarding, with submerged rocks near the outcrop and a wide tidal sweep. The east section is a nature reserve; dogs are banned on the west beach in summer. RNLI lifeguards patrol weekends from May, then daily July-September; rising tide can leave quicksand-like sand flats.
