A long, wide, fine-sand beach on the Herault lido, with a gently sloping sandy bottom and no rocks or reef at the waterline. It is flat and wind-swell driven, used mainly for windsurfing and kitesurfing in Tramontane winds, which blow offshore here, carrying a drift-out risk for unsupervised riders. Lifeguard posts operate at several sections from mid/late June through September. Dogs are restricted to designated leashed zones.
