A wild, NNE-facing sandy cove sheltered from the wind, with rocks and pebbles exposed at lower tides and intact dunes. Used for surfing, kitesurfing, scuba diving, and sand yachting, with a stream mouth on its right side. At high tide it is a sheltered, swimmable cove; at low tide the sea retreats far, exposing rocks and sand flats and making swimming impractical. Best approached within about two hours either side of high water.
