Playa del Chaparral Kitesurf Forecast

Chaparral · Spain

Playa del Chaparral scores 61/100 for kitesurf today at its best ability level (beginner). The beach faces S. A long, narrow, south-facing beach of dark sand and gravel, with rocky outcrops at both ends and submerged rocks in shallow water near shore. It produces a moderate beach break; westerly winds bring cross-shore conditions and, in winter storms, wave ramps up to 1m -- suited to experienced windsurfers, sailors and divers rather than beginners. Foot access is difficult. Part of the beach is a nudist zone. Lifeguards cover June-September, 11:00-20:00.
