A small, quiet 150 m pebble-and-gravel cove at the foot of the Mascarat gorge, next to a marina. The seabed is rocky with Posidonia meadows, giving very clear water; sheltered and wave-free, it suits snorkelling and diving rather than surfing or kite/windsurf. Nudism isn't permitted. A rescue team reportedly operates in summer, though staffing isn't confirmed and this cove isn't among Altea's individually named lifeguard posts.
