In context.
A wide, north-facing sandy bay backed by cliffs, offering three distinct breaks: a sandbar beach break, a rocky reef/boulder break working best at high tide, and a heavy point break over boulders and rocks. A fringing reef cuts off swell at low tide, forming a flat-water lagoon favoured by kayakers and paddleboarders. Hazards include rocks, rips and pollution. Naturism is prohibited. RNLI lifeguards patrol seasonally, daily 10am-6pm through summer.
