In context.
A sheltered, southwest-facing rocky reef bay with three distinct breaks over rock/ledge bottom, part on MOD land closed when a red flag flies. Submerged rocks throughout are a hazard, especially at low tide. Kitesurfing is difficult due to rocky launch zones and gusty cliff winds. A kitesurfing permit and road toll apply, plus a 5-knot speed limit within buoy lines. No RNLI lifeguards are posted; a volunteer coastguard team covers the area.
