In context.

A long, gently sloping sandy beach backed by dunes and forest, within a National Nature Reserve. Its exposed, west-facing Atlantic aspect draws consistent swell and wind, used for kitesurfing and windsurfing alongside a beginner-friendly beach break with lefts and rights, most consistent in winter; rip currents are a hazard. No lifeguard is on duty. An adjacent tidal island cuts off at high tide; leave at least two hours beforehand.
