A small, sheltered pocket cove below a hill, reached by stairs, with mixed sand-and-gravel bathing areas split into three sections by rocky outcrops. Calm water rather than a surf break, used for swimming and light watersports including windsurfing, diving and kitesurfing. Unsupervised -- it is not among the town's official lifeguarded beaches. Swimming was previously banned temporarily (a 2021 hydrocarbon spill). Dogs are permitted.
