A 350 m fine-sand family beach in a sheltered cove that keeps water calm and flat most of the year, with pebble and rock sections toward the edges. A sheltered beach break that rarely produces surfable swell, mainly when a south-southwesterly swell meets a northerly offshore wind. A naturist zone and kite and sailing areas are present, within a marine park adjoining a protected reserve. Hazards include rocks, undertow, and glass. Lifeguarded from mid-May.
