A remote, 1 km stretch of fine white sand on Corsica's northern coast, protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral since 1979, reachable only by boat from Saint-Florent or a long 4WD-and-hike route. More exposed to open-sea swell than other Corsican beaches, it can produce small-to-medium beach-break waves, used for kitesurfing, windsurfing and surfing. It is unsupervised, with no lifeguard, and anchored boats make it crowded in July and August.
