A small, roughly 400-metre natural cove on the Basque coast facing northwest, with a mixed sand, pebble and reef bottom split into three sections: a mellow beginner left to the south, a central A-frame for intermediates, and a rockier right-hander to the north for experienced surfers. The reef is exposed and hazardous at low tide, so mid-to-high tide entry is safest. Seasonal lifeguard cover runs July-August; outside those hours it is unsupervised.
