A small, quiet sub-beach of fine white quartz sand at the edge of a larger beach frontage, backed by dune-topped cliffs near a protected nature reserve. The water is described locally as calm and sheltered, "not open sea," suited to calm-water recreation such as paddleboarding and swimming rather than surfing or wind sports. It is less crowded than the main beach. Fishing is banned within 200 m of shore for most of summer; no nudism.
