A raw, unguarded reef and point break on Madeira's remote south-west coast, breaking over a flat rocky bottom. The fast, powerful right-hander produces tubular barrels from around 1.5–4 m+, best on south-west to south swells, peaking October–March. Rated advanced to expert only, it has hosted international events. There is no lifeguard cover; entry and exit require scrambling over slippery rocks at mid-to-high tide, with rips and rocks as hazards.
