A small, secluded rocky cove reached via about 50 steep steps from the coast path, with no car park. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Britain's only underwater Local Nature Reserve, valued for rock pooling and snorkelling; its sheltered ENE-facing position within Tor Bay means negligible swell. The bed is mixed sand, shingle and rock, exposed at low tide, when entry is rocky; swimming suits high tide. No lifeguard service.
