Portrush East Strand Wing Foil Forecast
Portrush · United Kingdom
Portrush East Strand scores 93/100 for wing foil today at its best ability level (expert). The beach faces NW. A wide, 4km sandy beach break on Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast, facing north-northwest into the Atlantic; northwest swell brings winter surf, mostly flat in summer. Rocky ground at the eastern end near Curran Point produces permanent rip currents - swimming there is not advised at any tide, and this stretch is unpatrolled. RNLI lifeguards cover the main beach daily in July-August. Tide can shift depth by up to 10 metres. Dogs banned June-September.
